Golden Glow Juice
I started getting into nutrient packed smoothies over a year ago, and I really enjoy blending different vegetables and fruits together to create unique flavors. A couple of months ago, I invested in a juicer after reading why juices are so good for your body. They not only provide needed hydration, but they allow your body to cleanse itself by absorbing fats and toxins from your gut, and provide many vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, and amino acids. After juicing once or twice a day for a couple of months, I started to see the benefits. My skin is glowing and feels and looks younger than it has in years.
After a recent bout of the dreaded flu, I was combing ingredients in my juicer to both increase our immunity as well as to support healthy skin and reduce bloating. I combined carrots, sweet potatoes, golden beets, mango, ginger, turmeric, cucumbers, celery, and an orange for added sweetness. This juice has now become one of my new favorites and I make it often using either golden or red beets. In order to create this tasty juice, you will need a juicer, although you could peel and chop the ingredients and throw them into a blender with some coconut water to create a smoothie.
