Italian Style Grilled Beef With Arugula

Although we should all try and reduce our consumption of red meat, there are times when you do want to enjoy a good steak. Combining steak with peppery arugula salad might sound like an odd idea, but I guarantee that once you’ve tried it, you won’t want to eat steak any other way. Traditionally this steak is always served rare, but if desired you could cook it a little more. It should be meltingly tender though to contrast sharply with the crisp, peppery lettuce. The nice thing about this dish is that by serving it sliced you can cut down the portion size and never even notice!

Why Healthy

  • Steak served in this fashion keeps the portion size small and by cutting off the excess fat before slicing, you reduce the fat calories significantly.
